As I was reading "Vito," I promised myself that I'd stop reading your book to go for my daily bike ride; exercise that's important to me since I'm Diabetic. I could not stop. "Just one more chapter," I thought to myself. By the time I got to the chapter that told of Vito's illness, I was a total wreck. My dog, Foxy Lady, died of the same illness. I found myself reliving the last five months of her life through your eyes. You truly are an excellent author. I have not ONE doubt that you will successfully sell your story. It deserves to be published; it needs to be published, and it deserves to be read. It is that well done — from the heart. When something is written from the heart it becomes even more real ... it projects the very essence of the author into the story and the reader tends to "bond" with the author without fully realizing it. I really enjoyed the comments that Vito made from time to time; smartass things — things that one might expect from a smartass cat (or dog, for that matter). They added so much to your story. I've purchased my pre-publish copy. I want have it as part of my Kindle library. You have a real winner in "Vito." It's beautiful, beautifully written, warm, and poignant.
